Crit and Reflection

Purpose

  • Share work with classmates, get feedback
  • Practice presenting work
  • Practice art of constructive criticism
  • Reflect on class, provide feedback for next segment

Format

~2.5 hours of crit

  • A series of brief presentations and discussions of each student work.

~30 minutes of reflection/discussion

  • Brief discussion and/or written exercise reflecting on various aspects of course.

Assignments/Grades

  • Presentation of work
  • Participation in crit — providing feedback to peers
  • Participation in reflection on course feedback
